This major expose of the profitable trade of management consultancy – and the role it played in creating a climate of secrecy and irresponsibility in the public sector and large corporations was commissioned by Sara Ramsden for the Channel Four business series High Interest. It was my first project as producer.

The show included a dissection of the language of "business speak" - the unfathomable and vague language of euphemism used to bamboozle the unsuspecting.

The film caught much of the spirit of the City of London before the financial crash, and pointed towards the lack of corporate accountability brought about by the excessive use of external consultants and "activist" accountants.
